The Lord’s Place corporate and event catering services are temporarily limited, due to the pandemic.
At this time, we are reaffirming the agency’s mission to break the cycle of homelessness, by focusing on our original Café Joshua, now in its 40th year. At Café Joshua, our clients learn from a range of fundamental cooking and serving skills, in preparation for future employment. In addition, we provide a hot meal, prepared and served by the clients themselves, to men, women and children experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in our community.
With our reduced staffing and focus on client training, we continue to fulfill food service contracts and endeavor to provide corporate and private catering services when we can accommodate those requests. We encourage you to check with us for availability for your catering and food contract needs.
All proceeds from this business venture benefit the programs and services of The Lord’s Place. Select graduates of our food services transitional work experience program, directed by highly-trained staff with extensive experience in the culinary field, work for our company and gain valuable experience in food preparation and service. This helps them in their efforts to gain outside employment.
Maintaining the highest standards for a clean, healthy and safe
environment for our customers and team members has always been,
and will continue to be, our top priority.
All Joshua Catering staff pledge to uphold and abide by all COVID-19 safety guidelines and practices mandated by the Centers for Disease Control while engaging in the preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
