Ending homelessness begins with providing homes.
Yes. It is that simple.
On any given night, 275 people live at our residences. One of the hardest parts of our day is to say, “No.” “No” to a family. “No” to a man or a woman. “No, we don’t have a place for you to stay tonight.”
Our job is to build relationships, gain trust, and restore hope. But if we don’t have homes to give our clients, they remain on the streets. This campaign will let us hand our clients the keys to their new homes.
We will earmark $5 million to increase our supportive housing
inventory, including wraparound services such as behavioral health, substance use recovery, job training and employment, financial literacy, health care coordination, and basic life skills.
Our emphasis will be to build, remodel, or rehabilitate housing units to serve families, the elderly, single women, the chronically homeless, and those who are being released from prison or jail.
Will you help us give clients a key? What role will you play in bringing individuals and families Home for Good?
