Meet Louis

Categories: Success Stories

Mr. Louis came to The Lord’s Place on May 17th and has made tremendous progress since day one. He knew his goals – to pay off his in-credit card debt, own a house in Century Village, and reconnect with his family. He currently receives disability income and works part-time at a RaceTrac gas station and has been saving his money and using it toward paying off his debt. Sadly, Louis’ mother recently passed away, but he has been reconnecting with his family and plans to visit New York next month to settle his mother’s estate.

In the brief time he has been in our program Louis has shown how kind and courteous he is. He is appreciative and continues to work hard to achieve his goals. Louis truly embodies The Lord’s Place mission. His story and progress speak to what the lord’s place offers the community; compassionate and effective services dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness in our community.
