Giving Outside the Box

The ability to give is different for everyone.
The Lord’s Place strives to make the giving process simple, easy, and mutually beneficial.

Workplace Giving

The Lord’s Place is a proud member of United Way.  Consider designating The Lord’s Place during your workplace giving campaign.

Matching Gifts

Check to see if your company matches gifts to maximize your donation. Not sure? Give us a call at 561.494.4928, and we’ll help you find out.

Donate a Vehicle

Do you have a vehicle that you’d like to donate?  Avoid the hassle of selling your vehicle – dealing with people coming to your home and having to haggle.  Just make one phone call to 561.537.4665, and we will take care of everything for you, and provide you the tax benefit.  It’s really that easy!

Recycle Your Old Electronics

Do you have old computers, cell phones, phone systems, laptops, or other electronics piling up that you just don’t know how to dispose of safely?  Do you have sensitive information on hard drives and need to have it erased?  The Lord’s Place is partnering with Excess IT Hardware to help you dispose of these items – safely – and The Lord’s Place will get a portion of the proceeds as a donation!  Just call 561.537.4665 or email Meredith Fontenot at MFontenot@TheLordsPlace.org and we will coordinate everything!

Donate Gently Used or New Items

If you would like to donate gently used, clean clothing, or new toiletry items, please call 561.537.4645 or email Info@TheLordsPlace.org.  If you would like to see our needs list, please click here.

Buy Our Greeting Cards

We have several cards all created by children in Lord’s Place housing and they are great for any occasion!  Click here to see the variety of cards we have – we will mail them directly to you!

There are many other creative ways to give – non-cash gifts like stocks, equities, land and so much more!

The Lord’s Place Advancement staff is ready to help you with any of your questions.
