Events

The Lord’s Place hosts three signature events each year in order to raise awareness and funds for those in Palm Beach County who find themselves homeless.

The Lord’s Place is looking forward

to you joining us at next our annual event.

Ending Homelessness Breakfast

Our Ending Homelessness Breakfast is held the Thursday before Thanksgiving and showcases The Lord’s Place programs, clients, staff, and volunteers to business and non-profit leaders in our community.

This inspiring breakfast always sells out and gives attendees a dramatic view of our services and the impact on clients. A highlight is honoring servant leaders at this event, whose commitment and integrity are transforming our community.  Our breakfast has become known as the place to be uplifted, encouraged, and inspired as we head into the holiday season.

We hope you can join us at the Breakfast on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Palm Beach Event

Held annually every winter, The Palm Beach Event began 13 years ago as “A Special Evening of Dinner and Celebration” and evolved into the Palm Beach Non-Event.

Over the years, it has raised more than $2.5M for the mission of The Lord’s Place, supporting the programs and services and changing the lives of those homeless and most vulnerable.

We hope you participate in the Non-Event this coming March 2025.

3.27.19 March To End Homelessness (20)

March to End Homelessness

In 2024, The Lord’s Place announced the creation of a brand-new event!  The March to End Homelessness, held in the Spring, unites individuals, corporations, business and community leaders, schools, and groups with a walk toward a downtown destination where clients of The Lord’s Place are celebrated and the M.A.R.C.H. Award (Mobilize, Advocate, Respond, and Commit to end Homelessness) is given to a stand-out corporate partner in our community.

Join us to raise awareness, increase education, and help us meet our $350,000 match thanks to the generosity of The Honorable Ann Brown.

An Announcement About SleepOut

With mixed emotions and many conversations with our closest partners and friends, SleepOut is retiring as of 2024.  Please stay tuned as we emerge with a new event, the inaugural March to End Homelessness.

We thank the community for so many years of support and encourage the community to still dedicate the first Friday of April to sleeping somewhere other than the comfort of your own bed as a symbol of our solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.  Together, we will end the cycle of homelessness through advocacy, awareness, and much-needed funding.  We hope you join us at the March on Friday, April 4, 2025!
