The Lord’s Place hosts three signature events each year in order to raise awareness and funds for those in Palm Beach County who find themselves homeless. We hope you can participate in one or more of our events.
Ending Homelessness Breakfast
Our Ending Homelessness Breakfast, is held each November at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach, and showcases The Lord’s Place programs, clients, staff and volunteers to business and non-profit leaders in our community. This inspiring breakfast always sells out, and gives attendees a dramatic view of the services we offer and the impact made on clients. Also, we honor servant leaders at this event, whose commitment and integrity are transforming our community. Our breakfast has become known as the place to be uplifted, encouraged and inspired as we head in to the holiday season.
SleepOut is held every April at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach. This event gives The Lord’s Place an opportunity to shine a light on the nearly 3,000 people experiencing homelessness in Palm Beach County, and help the homeless help themselves. In this profound community event, you will hear stories of success from former clients, participate in a candle lighting ceremony, and if you choose, sleep under the stars. With children’s activities, a silent auction, performers and more, this event continues to be one of Palm Beach County’s most popular functions of the year, and a Lord’s Place signature fundraising event.
