The Lord’s Place hosts three signature events each year in order to raise awareness and funds for those in Palm Beach County who find themselves homeless. We hope you can participate in one or more of our events.
Ending Homelessness Breakfast
Our Ending Homelessness Breakfast, is held each November at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach, and showcases The Lord’s Place programs, clients, staff and volunteers to business and non-profit leaders in our community. This inspiring breakfast always sells out, and gives attendees a dramatic view of the services we offer and the impact made on clients. Also, we honor servant leaders at this event, whose commitment and integrity are transforming our community. Our breakfast has become known as the place to be uplifted, encouraged and inspired as we head in to the holiday season.
SleepOut is held every April in West Palm Beach. This event gives The Lord’s Place an opportunity to shine a light on the nearly 3,000 people experiencing homelessness in Palm Beach County, and help the homeless help themselves. The Lord’s Place SleepOut event on Friday, April 3 will happen, but not as originally planned. In concert with community-wide efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, The Lord’s Place will continue to shine a light on homelessness and raise funds for its life changing programs to help those who are homeless by moving SleepOut to the individual homes of each participant. Please support SleepIn for SleepOut and helps us make sure this night remains dedicated to those who are homeless. (SleepOutTLP.org)
Rappelling to End Homelessness
Rappelling to End Homelessness is a new event for The Lord’s Place taking place in February. Staffed by the experienced and professional team at Over the Edge (overtheedgeglobal.com), this event will be sure to bring a new daring crowd, and bring The Lord’s Place name and mission to new heights! Whatever your risk level, there is an opportunity for everyone to be involved! (Rappel4TLP.org)
