“I’ve never had such an honor bestowed on me as being asked to be the Honorary Chairman of this year’s Ending Homelessness Breakfast,” said Scott Powers, Financial Sales Manager of the Jupiter branch of First Citizens Bank.

The Lord’s Place has had a relationship with Scott and First Citizens Bank for about a decade. First Citizens bank has worked closely with the agency as its bank and an event partner at the Ending Homelessness Breakfast and SleepOut. Scott and his colleagues take great pride in helping their clients to find creative solutions to their banking needs every day while instilling the importance of community and helping those in need. Scott has found great value in The Lord’s Place’s work to end homelessness and has generously and personally supported our mission for the past nine years.

Having been in the banking industry for 30 years and with First Citizens for the last 16, Scott knows the value of partnerships. He is often seen around the agency and is always helpful and kind to clients and staff, taking the time to learn about the agency’s mission and hear the inspirational stories that come with the work.

Scott, his husband and partner Michael of 29 years, and Gigi, his Italian Greyhound reside in Palm Beach Gardens. “It’s always a pleasure volunteering for The Lords Place and visiting their offices as their team always treats me like family.
